Our history
BST Canada is the Canadian division of BST Group, a family-owned and operated company founded over 50 years ago by the late Mr. Badi Tannous. What started as a modest construction business, with Mr. Tannous laying bricks, has grown into an international real estate development and investment corporation.
In the 1990s, we expanded into Europe, becoming active in Germany, Romania, Poland, and Georgia. Our Canadian branch was established several years later, in 2000.
In 2022, one of Israel’s largest institutional investors, the Phoenix Group, acquired a 20% stake in BST Group alongside the Tannous family. This partnership has been instrumental in advancing our real estate enterprise over the past few years. Most recently, 2023 marked our expansion into the UK market.
Today, we are one of Israel’s leading real estate groups, with a global presence in Europe and North America. In both residential and commercial real estate markets, we are renowned for elevating the stature and utility of buildings, delivering unmatched value for our partners.
Hands-on approach
From acquisition and planning, right through to construction, high-end interior fitting and renovation, all aspects of our operation are managed and executed by BST. We embody a collaborative and diligent approach to projects, which can be seen at the ground level all the way up to our C-level executive and leadership teams. By actively engaging in productive teamwork, we are able to consistently deliver exceptional results.
