The acquisition
In addition to acquiring 200 Rose Glen, the company also purchased a 29,000-square-foot commercial property located at 108 Angeline Street South in Lindsay, Ontario. At the time of acquisition, the Haliburton, Kawartha, Pine Ridge District Health Unit (HKPR) occupied most of the space, leaving approximately 25% vacant. This vacancy offers an opportunity to lease the space to medical services, thereby enhancing the property’s income and value.

The project
Since acquiring the property, we have made substantial enhancements to meet the needs and requirements of our tenants. The Haliburton, Kawartha, Pine Ridge District Health Unit occupies the majority of the space.

The Result
The value of our Angeline property has already increased significantly since its purchase, especially after leasing the vacant spaces and introducing new services in the centre.
Our strategic investment in the Angeline property has yielded impressive returns. By focusing on leasing previously vacant spaces and introducing a range of new services, we have not only enhanced the property’s value but also transformed it into a vibrant hub for medical services.
Our commitment to capital improvements has been pivotal in this transformation. Enhancements to the building’s infrastructure, including modernized systems, improved accessibility, and upgraded aesthetics, have made the Angeline property a premier destination for healthcare providers. These improvements have not only elevated the property’s market value but also created a more appealing and functional environment for all visitors
