The Project
We acquired 1825 Russell Road in 2014 as a distressed asset. In the lobby, we completed a renewal of the walls, floors and furniture to create a clean and welcoming space for tenants and their guests. All common areas were updated with freshly painted walls and refinished floors. The elevator system and laundry facility were upgraded, and we added a gym to the building. All renovated unit upgrades included new laminate floors throughout, ceramic flooring in the kitchens and bathrooms, modern appliances, updated light fixtures, and new cupboards, sinks, and countertops.
Upon completion of our large-scale renovation and rejuvenation project, the property it was sold for more than double the purchase price.
