The Tannous Foundation

Established in memory of BST’s Founder, the late Mr. Badia Tannous, and his wife, Eva, the Tannous Foundation is a non- profit organization whose vision is to continually foster and support a society based on equality.

In particular, the Foundation seeks to advance the status of women, cultivate values of tolerance, bring hearts together and build social responsibility in order to create balanced and strong societies.

The goals of the Tannous Foundation

The goals of the Tannous Foundation include:

  • Promote educational and academic opportunities through initiatives and financial support
  • Advance medicine and medical research by supporting research and medical centres; by introducing advanced medical technologies and equipment; and by preserving medical infrastructure for the well-being of patients and medical staff
  • Promote gender equality through collaboration with organizations that work to advance the status of women in all areas of the Israeli economy
  • Foster closer relations by creating a common dialogue between different sectors of Israeli society through educational and community projects
  • Provide assistance through financial support and collaboration with appropriate entities that share common goals
